In the course of interacting with Whitetail Rentals and its services, you may supply the following types of information: (a) booking data, such as name and contact details; (b) transaction-related information, such as credit card data and billing address; (c) any information you provide us when you contact us; and (d) comments you enter into guest books or digital services. We use this information to contact you with important information about your stay, required notices, and occasional marketing promotions.
AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED DATA
Digital services collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to (a) device information such as the browser and operating system accessing the services, (b) usage information about your interactions with the service, and (c) imprecise location information such as country of access. We use this information to monitor and improve our digital services.
YOUR OPT-OUT RIGHTS
You may opt out of marketing promotions at any time by following the instructions provided in each communication. You may also send us a written request to delete your user-provided data, and we will gladly remove all such data within 30 days unless prohibited by law.
SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES
We may disclose User-Provided and Automatically Collected data to third parties under the following circumstances:
with our trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have similar privacy policies to ours;
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government or insurance request;
if Whitetail Rentals is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets.
We share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We protect your data using industry standard security practices, such as 256-bit transport-layer security (TLS) encryption for communication with our digital services, anonymization of digital service usage data, and payment processors that comply with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards for protection of credit card and billing data. Furthermore, our personnel are required to use strong passwords and multi-factor authentication to access sensitive data, and endpoint security such as full-disk encryption and anti-virus and/or intrusion prevention software.
